Council required a framework to guide cultural development through to 2026. The Hills is a highly educated, culturally diverse community in the northwest growth corridor of Sydney. The new northwest rail alignment required the demolition of council’s 1,600-seat performing arts centre and Council wished to take the opportunity to plan for its future cultural needs before committing to further capital expenditure. 

Our Approach to the study included;

The key actions identified 6-key strategy areas with 3, 6 and 9 year action plans to guide council in its planning and resource allocation along with indicative expenditure and capital works budgets.
